Worship Services

Services are held each Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:15.

 

Sunday School classes for Pre-school through 5th grade are held at both 9:30 & 11:15.  

 

Middle School SS classes are held at 11:15.

High Schoolers are encouraged to Worship and Serve alongside the

congregation on Sunday mornings.

Home Helpers

The purpose of this ministry is to assist families or individuals experiencing crisis or stress.  We provide food, help with household chores and transportation as needed.

  • Do you like to prepare and deliver meals?
  • Are you willing to make an extra freezer meal for long term care families or individuals?
  • Would you be willing to help with household chores or transportation for someone in their time of need?

To help in any of these areas, please contact Miriam Leavitt, 376-2578.

 

Hilltop Prayer Team

This is a group of women who come together once a week for a confidential time of prayer.  If you want prayer for something specific, there is a box at the Information Desk to put your prayer in or you can contact Hermine Bouwkamp, 376-7719.

 

Prayer 911

This ministry is an emergency prayer chain.  If you have an emergency and want a prayer request to go through the prayer chain please contact Shirley O'Donnell.  If you would like to be added to the prayer chain please contact Shirley as well at

 

Apples of Gold

The "older" women of Wasilla Bible Church desire to nurture the younger women in the Word of God, the Bible, and encourage them to obey that Word while building quality relationships with them.  Two Apples sessions are held per year (fall and spring), each having 6 mentors and 6 mentees.  Mentees are required to attend the six Saturday sessions, provide your own childcare, complete weekly Bible lessons, and be prepared to be pampered.  Contact Karen Spear, 745-0214 for more details.

 

Childcare

Do you love caring for little ones?  Then we can put your talents to use!  Many women attend Bible Studies and other events because childcare is available for their little ones.  We are looking for those who would we willing to volunteer at various times for various church activities.  Contact our Child Care Co-Coordinator, Kristy Hales, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Newborn Baby Welcome

Did you just have a baby or know someone who did?  Let us present your baby(ies) with a gift to welcome them to the Wasilla Bible Church family. Barb Crozier coordinates this ministry
