A Child Is Born, a Son Is Given

As the Apostle Peter neared the end of his life he wrote a last letter to his fellow Christians. Among his final words of encouragement and exhortation is the press for us to pay attention to the prophetic words of Scripture “as to a light shining in a dark place”. Today our goal is to do so by looking intently at an ancient prophecy given through Isaiah concerning the one who will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Jesus, forever and forever, amen.
