January: McGrath

McGrath Community Church is a gospel-centered community serving in the remote interior of Alaska, committed to strengthening believers and fostering unity across isolated villages. It seeks to function as a relational and spiritual hub, overcoming significant logistical and environmental challenges in order to encourage local churches, and faithfully proclaim Christ.

Please pray for God’s blessing over the many potential obstacles to these gatherings, including weather, aircraft and lodge maintenance, and the health and safety of both staff and participants, especially given the harsh realities of life in the bush. Pray for the encouragement, edification, and growing unity of believers and churches throughout the interior of Alaska, and that the church would continue to serve as a faithful hub for the surrounding community. Pray as well for the upcoming trip involving Louis and the Kemps, and ask that the Lord would provide the wisdom, protection, and resources needed for all travel and ministry. Finally, pray that God would faithfully provide the funds necessary to carry out these gatherings and bless Stauros Ministries as they prepare to serve and feed believers at the June gathering.
