God Cares About Gratitude

Today we come to the end of a section (chapters 12-26) of specific instructions for how Israel is to live when they come into the land. We'll be looking at the last of these specific instructions, 26:1-15. Israel is to respond to God's gracious gift of the land by giving from what God has provided for them from the harvest of the land. They are to gratefully give back to God as well as to the needy among them, and as they give they are to speak to God: telling his story, relating their response of faithful obedience, and seeking his blessing.
