From Joel: Sometimes when we pray, we can struggle to find the words. Sometimes we run out of words or don’t even know how or what to ask for in a given situation. Romans 8:26 tells us that the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness, interceding for us with groanings too deep for words. I wrote this song years ago while praying for a couple of friends with challenging medical situations. Many times since then, Naomi and I have sung this song in difficult times, reminding ourselves that, as we pray, the Holy Spirit is praying, too.
