Psalm 130-131

The Psalms of Ascent (Psalms 120-134) start with God’s people feeling isolated, cut off, persecuted, and lied about amidst those opposed to God and His peace. However, from that difficult point of exile, the Psalms of Ascent progress to culminate with all God’s people gathered, enjoying fellowship and singing His praise. It is a series of psalms for the journey of God’s people from living in exile to living in God’s place, in His presence, with His people. Today’s Psalms: 130-131.
