Listening to Jesus

In Mark 9:7, God the Father speaks from heaven, saying of Jesus, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.” In the remainder of the chapter Jesus speaks words to which we must listen—calling us to faith that leads to prayer, the greatness of serving, and the refining process of removing sin from our lives. Today's passage: Mark 9:14-50.
