God's Kingdom, God's King
We began reading through the book of Acts last fall. Today we finish. It ends the same way it begins: pointing to the Kingdom of God and the story of his King. In between start and finish we read through many dramatic twists and turns - the ups and downs of witness given in a broken world. None are more dramatic than Paul’s path from persecutor of Christ in Jerusalem to prisoner for Christ in Rome. In all of it the promise remains the same and the story told never changes.
Kids, as you listen to the sermon, we invite you to take a piece of paper and draw a picture of how you see Paul spending most of his time during these verses. Think about including others with him and showing how each person feels. Comic book speech bubbles are nice too! Put your name, age and the passage "Acts 28:16-31" on your page. Have your parents take a picture of it and email it to office@wasillabible.org. During the week, we’ll share a selection of this morning’s drawings on Realm.
