On this Sunday before Christmas we want to take time to remember and celebrate Jesus’ First Advent (coming) as well as anticipate and proclaim His Second. Isaiah 40 is a passage that does exactly that, as the Lord God promises to bring a lasting comfort to His people. Today’s passage: Isaiah 40:1-11.
