"Blessed Be the Lord God of Israel"

Through the four Sundays of Advent, we'll be preaching through the four poems (or songs) in the opening chapters of Luke: Mary's song (Luke 1:46-55), Zechariah's song (Luke 1:67-79), the angels' song (Luke 2:13-14), and Simeon's song (Luke 2:28-32). This Sunday we'll be in the second of these: Zechariah's song (Luke 1:67-79), in which Zechariah blesses God who comes to redeem us through His saving King.
