"My Eyes Have Seen Your Salvation"

Through the four Sundays of Advent, we'll be preaching through the four poems (or songs) in the opening chapters of Luke: Mary's song (Luke 1:46-55), Zechariah's song (Luke 1:67-79), the angels' song (Luke 2:13-14), and Simeon's song (Luke 2:28-32). This Sunday we'll be in the fourth of these: Simeon's song (Luke 2:22-40), in which Simeon praises God, who has provided salvation for His people through the coming of Jesus.
