Jesus Is Lord of the Sabbath

Jesus’ arrival challenges, stretches, and even breaks many of the cultural rules of religious groups in His day, specifically around the concept of Sabbath Rest. And yet, as God in the flesh, Jesus is the One who invented the Sabbath. As the Lord of the Sabbath He knows its purpose and for what it was made. Today’s passage: Mark 2:18-3:6.
