Psalm 129

Psalms 120-134 are called Psalms of Ascent, most likely because they were sung by worshipers ascending to Jerusalem for the annual festivals. In Psalm 129, the worshipers remember the afflictions that God's people have endured and how the LORD in his righteousness has not let the enemy prevail.
