Humiliation and Retaliation at Shechem

In chapter 34 Jacob's family is indignant when Jacob's daughter Dinah is humiliated by Shechem. Her brothers Simeon and Levi retaliate violently. If we read this story in light of the rest of Genesis, we know that God sees, knows, and cares about Dinah's humiliation and her brother's retaliation, and will set all things right through his promised Offspring.
