From Joel: This song was written for Arts for the Kingdom: Witness in October of 2020, and we wanted to revisit it as a family. Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the book of Psalms, calling all nations and all peoples to praise the LORD because of his steadfast love and faithfulness. With a gypsy jazz setting of the Hebrew text, we hope it represents in a small way the joyful blending of cultures called for in this psalm.
