Arrangement by Joel Stamoolis

From Joel: When we announced our theme for this event back in October, one of our WBC members (and a faithful A4K artist!) requested that we chant a psalm. That request was the inspiration for this arrangement, which includes both unison plainchant and harmonic choral chant.

C.S. Lewis called Psalm 19 “the greatest poem in the Psalter.” It begins with a beautiful meditation on how creation speaks of God’s glory, continues in praise of the perfection of God’s law, and concludes with the prayer: “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.”
