Sermon on the Mount: Living with Discernment

In Matthew 5-7 Jesus gives the first of five extended discourses in the book of Matthew. The Sermon on the Mount, as this discourse is commonly called, provides an overview of how the citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven will think, speak, and live. It provides, in a manner of speaking, the Law of Jesus' Kingdom. Today, Pete takes us into Mat. 7:1-12, in which Jesus commands his people to live with discernment and equips them to do so.
