Sermon on the Mount: His Kingdom & Righteousness

n Matthew 5-7 Jesus gives the first of five extended discourses in the book of Matthew. The Sermon on the Mount, as this discourse is commonly called, provides an overview of how the citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven will think, speak, and live. It provides, in a manner of speaking, the Law of Jesus' Kingdom. Today, Joel takes us into the third part of the Sermon on the Mount, Mat. 6, in which Jesus teaches about how we practice our righteousness and whose righteousness we are to seek.
