Repent, the Kingdom Is at Hand

John the Baptizer prepared the way for the coming King, crying out, "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." This call confronted all who heard it to have a change of mind and heart that leads to a Godward change of life direction. It also set the stage for the beginning of Jesus' public ministry, as He publicly identified Himself with His people through baptism. And in this act of obedience Jesus received the confirmation of the Holy Spirit and the affirmation of God the Father. In today's sermon Pastor Ashley walks us through Matthew 3 and helps us see its significance for us today.
