The King of the Jews

Today we continue in our sermon series- The King and His Kingdom: The Gospel according to Matthew. In chapter 2 we'll see that Jesus Christ was born king of the Jews. He was worshipped by gentiles, persecuted by Herod, and foretold by the prophets. As the promised King of the Jews, he is also King over all the nations, and is due our worship, our obedience, and is rightly met with great joy.
