From Kailyn: Originally, the Barkers asked my brother and me to sing a song with them, but unfortunately their Guatemala trip was extended, and they weren’t able to make it back in time. Instead, Nick and I decided to join forces with our cousins since we have so much fun together. We chose to sing “It’s a Beautiful Day” because it reminds us of the things God gives us each day, that all of his gifts are good and that we can choose to be thankful. We can be joyful in experiencing God’s love and mercy in the day to day, but we can also be joyful in the trials and the rainy days. God’s character is always visible if we are looking.
