Psalm 35

In Psalm 35, David laments suffering at the hands of those he has cared for; he prays for his adversaries when they are sick, and yet when he stumbles they rejoice (35:12-16). Still, rather than retaliate, David looks to God to bring deliverance, "Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me" (35:1), and comfort, "Say to my soul, 'I am your salvation'" (35:3).

This setting of Psalm 35 is an original paraphrase and melody.
