From Phil: The Harp Twins were in Alaska along with the Volfgang Twins for almost 3 weeks in the Summer of 2025. They didn’t bring any golden harps with them. So, I didn’t hear any harps of gold, even from them. We’re definitely stuck on this side of glory. We’re not in paradise yet. Tragedies cause us pause. Most of us are left to wonder, watch, and wait. God’s goodness is not circumstantial; it is covenantal. God is good all the time even though we live in a fallen world. We are left with lives yet to unfold, in need of the Savior who has already conquered sin and death. The name Jesus (Yeshua) literally means, “Yahweh saves.” There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We can retain the hope of glory, in spite of our sin. The essentials of discipleship are authentically applying Scripture as committed followers of Jesus as Christ, Master, and King, in community, prayer, spiritual guidance, and gospel sharing, passing on to others transformation, justification, sanctification, purification, and glorification through genuine repentance.
