Salvation is a free, undeserved gift. Grace. Following Jesus thereafter is costly discipleship. He requires all that we are and own. Frances Ridley Havergal lists some of these things we’re to sacrifice in “Take My Life, and Let It Be”. They include life, time, hands, feet, voice, wealth, intellect, will, heart, love, self. “You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.
