May the God of Peace

From Wendy: Anita Humphries wanted a special song we could all sing to close out our Arts for the Kingdom events and she asked me to write the words for it. I agreed only because I knew that there were others who had the skills to take my efforts and actually make something out of them. Joel suggested the beautiful benediction from Hebrews chapter 13. It had been one of my father’s favorite benedictions and I have always loved it. It conveys the message that because God is equipping us and working in us, we are able to do work that pleases him. My prayer for the artists in our congregation is that you will continue to let him work in you to do his will so you can bring him glory through your work. Many thanks to Joel and Andrea for their expertise that resulted in this song.
